Turmeric Essential Oil (Curcuma longa) is steam distilled from the root of the turmeric plant and has a warm, spicy-fresh aroma that feels both grounding and invigorating. Rich and comforting, Turmeric is a wonderful addition to diffuser blends when you want a cozy, fortifying atmosphere—especially during seasonal changes or when you’re feeling mentally or physically worn down.
In aromatherapy, Turmeric is often used in blends designed to support comfort and resilience, and it’s a favorite in massage oils for overworked areas (properly diluted). Its warm spice character also makes it a beautiful supporting note in natural perfumery—pairing especially well with other spice oils and florals like Ylang Ylang for a softly exotic blend.
