Description and Uses:

Lavandin Essential Oil comes from a naturally occurring hybrid lavender plant—a cross between True Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia). Its aroma is similar to lavender, but typically sharper, more penetrating, and slightly more camphoraceous, making it especially useful when you want a lavender-like scent with extra freshness and punch.

Because Lavandin is abundant and beautifully fragrant, it’s commonly used in many commercial “lavender”-scented products such as soaps, lotions, and perfumes. In aromatherapy, Lavandin is valued for its versatility: it can be calming yet clarifying, and it works well in blends designed to refresh the air, support seasonal comfort, or ease tension in massage routines.

Lavandin is a wonderful choice for:

  • Massage blends for relaxing muscles and everyday tension (properly diluted)

  • Diffusion during seasonal changes to freshen the air and support clear breathing

  • Natural home fragrance blends where you want a clean, herbal-floral lavender note

  • Blends that benefit from a lavender aroma with a little extra camphoraceous lift

Traditional Uses: calming support, muscle relaxant blends, deodorizing diffusion, seasonal comfort routines, freshening home aromatherapy.

Ways to Use Lavandin Essential Oil:

Diffusion

Add 3–6 drops to a diffuser to freshen the air and promote a clean, calm atmosphere—especially helpful during seasonal transitions.
