Description and Uses:

Peppermint Essential Oil is a crisp, energizing oil with a penetrating minty aroma that can help relieve both mental and physical fatigue. Steam distilled from the aerial parts of Mentha piperita, Peppermint is widely used in aromatherapy for its ability to promote alertness, clarity, and refreshed energy—making it an excellent choice for daytime use.

Because Peppermint can be stimulating, many people prefer to use it earlier in the day, as its energizing effect may feel too wakeful close to bedtime.

Peppermint is also a popular addition to massage blends for traditional digestive comfort support, including bloating and flatulence (when properly diluted and applied to the abdominal area). It’s wonderfully soothing in a footbath after a long day, and it’s a classic travel companion—one drop on a tissue or handkerchief can feel instantly reviving. Many customers also love Peppermint in a car diffuser for long trips to help maintain alertness.

Peppermint is often used in aromatherapy and topical blends (properly diluted) to support:

  • Head tension and headaches

  • Sinus congestion and seasonal stuffiness

  • Sore muscles and joints after activity

Traditional Uses: emollient, antiseptic, muscle relaxant, refreshing aromatherapy, travel support.
