Description and Uses:

Citronella essential oil is a light, fresh, and uplifting oil. It's a natural deodorizer and is reputed to repel insects (mosquitos).

Traditional uses: deodorant, skin conditioner, and insect repellent.

Properties: antiseptic, bactericidal, diuretic.

Cautions:

Citronella essential oil may cause irritation in those with sensitive skin. Avoid during pregnancy.

Recipes Using Citronella Essential Oil:

Bug-Away Skin Oil:

2 tbsp of vegetable oil (we recommend soybean oil)
5 drops Cedarwood essential oil
4 drops Lemon essential oil
2 drops Geranium essential oil
1 drop Citronella essential oil

Mix these together in a plastic bottle and apply to skin to stay bug-free!
