This Organic Bergamot Essential Oil has a beautiful olive-green hue and an exceptional, fresh citrus aroma with subtle green-fruity notes. Bergamot is widely loved for its naturally uplifting character and is a classic choice for diffuser blends that help create a bright, cheerful, emotionally balancing atmosphere.
Because this is pure, whole Bergamot essential oil (not bergaptene-free), we recommend using it primarily in a diffuser or burner. For topical skincare products or massage blends, we suggest using Bergamot FCF (bergaptene-free), which reduces the risk of photosensitivity. Whole Bergamot can increase sensitivity to sunlight and may cause severe burning if used on the skin prior to sun or tanning bed exposure—so we offer it with the recommendation to reserve it for aromatic use only unless you have advanced experience and take proper precautions.

For external use only. Do not apply this whole Bergamot essential oil to skin or use in bath prior to exposure to the sun or tanning lamp—it can increase the susceptibility of the skin to severe burning (photosensitivity). For topical use, choose Bergamot FCF (bergaptene-free), which reduces this risk.
