Description and Uses:

Copaiba Balsam Essential Oil is a gently grounding, warm resin oil steam distilled from the aromatic resin of the Copaiba tree (Copaifera officinalis), which grows wild primarily in the rainforests of South America. Its aroma is mild and comforting—sweet, earthy, and balsamic—making it a beautiful choice for emotional support blends and natural perfumery.

In aromatherapy, Copaiba is often used as a grounding oil, especially during times when thoughts feel stressful, repetitive, or stuck. Its soft, calming presence can help encourage a sense of steadiness and ease, and it blends beautifully with both florals and citrus oils.

Copaiba is also valued as a natural fixative in perfumery, helping to anchor and extend the life of lighter top notes. Its warm base note makes it an excellent addition to perfume blends, body oils, and diffuser recipes that need a smooth, lasting foundation.

Traditional Uses: emotional grounding, perfumery fixative, diffuser blends, aromatic support.

Ways to Use Copaiba Balsam Essential Oil:

Grounding Diffuser Blend

Diffuse 3–6 drops to create a calm, steady atmosphere.

Natural Perfume Fixative

Add 1–2 drops to perfume blends to deepen the aroma and help anchor lighter notes.

“I appreciate the special offer. Thank you! I ordered once to get the discount. When I saw the letter with the allergy recipe, I tried to order again but the discount was a 1 time offer. I wrote to Andrew and he let me use the discount again so I could order the more expensive oils I needed. Thank you.”
