Recipe: Cedarwood Atlas Steam Inhalation

Adapted from Aromatherapy: A Lifetime Guide to Healing with Essential Oils by Valerie Gennari Cooksley

You’ll need:

  • 2 cups hot water

  • 1 drop Cedarwood Atlas essential oil

  • 1 drop Eucalyptus essential oil

  • 1 drop Hyssop essential oil

Directions:
Add essential oils to a bowl of hot water. Cover your head with a towel and breathe slowly in and out, keeping eyes closed. Repeat for several breaths, several times a day as desired.

Not recommended during pregnancy. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Always dilute properly before topical use and perform a patch test prior to application.
