Benzoin Absolute is a richly aromatic, vanilla-scented resin absolute known for its ability to create a feeling of warmth, comfort, and emotional ease. Deeply soothing and softly sweet, Benzoin is often used in aromatherapy blends to support relaxation, uplift the spirit, and bring a gentle sense of grounding—especially during times of stress, fatigue, or emotional heaviness.
Used in the East since ancient times as both a traditional medicine and incense, Benzoin has long been cherished for its comforting aroma and is now a popular ingredient in both aromatherapy and natural perfumery. Handling Note:
Because Benzoin Absolute is naturally thick and sticky, it’s easiest to work with when gently warmed. We recommend placing the bottle in warm water (not on direct heat) until the absolute begins to liquefy, making it easier to dispense and blend.
Add 1–2 drops to a diffuser with Frankincense or Sandalwood for a warm, soothing atmosphere.
