Description and Uses:

Organic Castor Oil is a time-honored, richly moisturizing oil valued for its naturally high fatty acid content—especially ricinoleic acid—which gives it its thick texture and deeply conditioning feel. Used for centuries in traditional beauty routines, Castor Oil is often chosen when you want a protective, nourishing oil that supports the look and feel of soft, well-conditioned skin and hair.

Our castor oil is expeller pressed at a low temperature. This helps preserve the oil’s integrity and is traditionally intended to ensure the oil is hexane-free and does not contain ricin, a toxic compound found in the castor plant (ricin is water-soluble and is not present in properly produced castor oil).

Castor Oil is commonly used in:

• Hair and scalp care (especially as a strengthening, conditioning oil)

• Brow and lash-style beauty routines

• Dry skin care for rough areas like elbows, knees, hands and heels

Because it’s naturally thick, many people prefer blending Castor Oil with lighter oils like Jojoba, Sweet Almond, Apricot Kernel or Grapeseed for easier application.

Ways to Use Organic Castor Oil:

Hair & Scalp Treatment

Massage a small amount into the scalp and through hair. Leave on 30–60 minutes (or overnight) before shampooing.

Dry Skin Spot Treatment

Apply a small amount to rough or dry areas as needed.

Blend for Easier Use

Combine with a lighter carrier oil for a smoother, less sticky texture.
