Description and Uses: German chamomile essential oil, also known as blue chamomile or chamomile matricaria. The beautiful blue color is from azulene which is formed during the distillation of the oil. The odor is sweet and adds a warm, long-lasting undertone in perfumes. Blue Chamomile is an excellent anti-inflammatory, valuable for menstrual problems, skin rashes, acne, eczema, arthritis and muscular aches and pains. Chamomile essential oil is commonly used in massage oils and herbal mixtures and is gentle enough for children. Traditional use: muscle relaxant, soothing agent, skin conditioner.
